Me, I maintain rather than be subtitled The Wild Hunt, 3 should have been subtitled Silver Platter because that's exactly what 3 provides: a platter on which it gives the gamer everything. 3 also lacks character development matching the previous entries in this series. That is an utter disappointment because it turns solving mysteries, rescuing folk, etc. But the positives do not outweigh the negatives, chiefest among them formulaic, meaningless side-quests ad nauseum and that ridiculous, too godlike power Witcher Sense. The one with Shani, now that was very cool, how it was handled by her and Geralt. Triss's is underrepresented and occurs too early. Yen's romance is much closer to teen angst than anything approaching a mature relationship. The main story for 3 is especially poorly done because it suffers from sequencing issues and is targeted for young adults (unlike the stories for TW 1 & 2 which made you contemplate), mostly black and white choices rather than gray. Linear quests, predictable and shallow stories separated by a couple excellent ones (Bloody Baron and Hearts of Stone). While great in some aspects (mainly cinematic and travel modes), TW3 leaves a lot to be desired. The pig quest physics SUCKS.but The Witcher 3 and its two DLC's are pretty much the epitome of gaming.
